MADELEINE OAKLEY
I am a lecturer at California State University, San Marcos. I recently completed an NSF SBE Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at North Carolina State University. My research uses ultrasound tongue imaging and L2 speech data to explore the representation of speech sounds. My primary research interests include second language acquisition, perception and production of non-native phones, articulation, and laboratory phonology. I received my PhD from Georgetown University in May 2021.
